Greg Crowder has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. He first started shooting headshots in a studio in San Diego, California. He continued shooting and became an associate casting director with Barbara Shannon Casting, CSA. He worked with Barbara for five years, casting national commercial campaigns for AOL, BUICK, CHEVY, just to name a few. He was associate casting director on many films including “MICHAEL LANDON, THE FATHER I KNEW,” and “BLOWBACK.”
Mr. Crowder is now a writer/producer with 6 reel pictures and has produced the short film “HANK AND EDGAR,” and written and produced two short films “NICHE,” and “BOY CALLED FISH.” Mr. Crowder is currently in development on the feature films “CACTUS” and “FRENCH TUESDAY.”
Mr. Crowder is a leading headshot photographer and has influenced many other photographers with his natural, fun and spontaneous style. He has won numerous awards, including Backstage West (Best of), which named him LA’s top photographer. He knows the dos, the don’ts and the ins and outs of the modeling and entertainment businesses. Being both in casting and producing has given him an edge unmatched in the industry. Mr. Crowder lives in Los Angeles but shoots also in San Diego and occasionally in other cities.
